The Real Estate Technology Stack I Actually Use.
The stack isn’t the system. It’s what supports the system.
Current stack · Updated September 2026
THE RULE
Buy software to support a process, not to create one.
I’m not loyal to software. I’m loyal to the job the software is supposed to do: attract attention, capture opportunity, follow up consistently, transact cleanly and keep the business moving.
Cheap software is expensive if nobody uses it. I care whether a tool removes friction, protects opportunity or saves enough time to justify its place.
THE STACK AT A GLANCE
The work moves through a system.

SEARCH + VISIBILITY
Decisions, not guesswork.
Visibility work shows where opportunity is coming from, what content earns attention and where the site needs to work harder.

LEAD CAPTURE
Make the next step easy.
IDX Broker + RealtyCandy + website forms
IDX Broker powers property search. RealtyCandy extends that experience into the wider technology ecosystem. Forms and AVM tools create specific conversion paths.
WOULD I CHOOSE THIS STACK AGAIN? YES, WITH CAVEATS.
What matters most
Capture should make someone’s next step easier. A form should collect enough information to continue the conversation without interrogating someone before they’ll raise their hand.
THE CENTER OF THE STACK
HighLevel brings the database and follow-up together.
This is the center of our current CRM and follow-up stack. Lead routing, automation and ongoing follow-up need to work as one operating system—not disconnected subscriptions.
We moved roughly 23,000 contacts into HighLevel because the job the platform needed to do had changed.
WOULD I CHOOSE IT AGAIN? YES.

WHAT CHANGED
The job changed. So did the platform.
Our prior CRM and database lived in Sierra Interactive. We moved because the work called for a stronger connection between database, workflow and automation.
Migration story coming next.
TRANSACTION + OPERATIONS
Every part of the business needs a proper home.
Transaction · Brokermint

Team · Gusto

CREATE + DISTRIBUTE + OWN
Content is only useful if it reaches the right people.
Create
ChatGPT for thinking and drafts. Canva for visual production. Descript for video and audio.
Own + distribute
JasonFox.me for evergreen publishing. beehiiv for audience. Social for distribution.

OWN THE AUDIENCE
Turn content into a weekly connection.
The Next Chapter is how ideas, people and work stay connected beyond one click or one algorithm.
TOOLS SUPPORT SYSTEMS
A tool isn’t a system.
Technology is only valuable when it strengthens the system around it. That’s the work behind The 14 Systems.
BEYOND REAL ESTATE TECHNOLOGY
This isn’t everything I use.
The technology stack is one part of a broader library of products and services that have earned their place in my business and life.
CLEAR ABOUT THE RELATIONSHIP
Recommendations come with context.
Some links may have affiliate or referral relationships. That never changes the recommendation, and any financial relationship will be disclosed plainly.
