36 Best Sites to get Free Images For Real Estate Websites
This image was found in Wikimedia Commons and is considered “Public Domain” and therefore no attribution is needed.
You cannot legally use images you find on Google Images for real estate websites!
If you do… there is a chance that someone will sue you. If they sue you, it will be for way more money than you feel they deserve, and there is a good chance they will win. It is called Copyright Infringement, and it is serious business.
Also, while the title of this post reads “Free Images For Real Estate Websites,” there is, as they say, “no such thing as a free lunch.”
No images are truly free. You either take the images and risk being sued, you spend the money to buy them, or you give credit to the creator.
This list contains links to sites from which you do not need to pay money or time, but you do need to pay homage. You do this by either mentioning the creator’s name or adding a link on your site to the creator, called attribution.
It depends on what the creator wants and should be disclosed on each site. Some sites are monetized through advertising and do not require any links or mentions.
A handful of sites allow for the free distribution of images and do not require attribution. If you use these sites, be sure to read the details.
Common sense and a little education can go a long way to helping you avoid pitfalls.
Most of these sites rely on a set of rules called the “Creative Commons“.
Paid High-Res, Royalty-Free, Stock Image Source
If you are looking for a consistent source of images that are better in quality and are willing to pay a small fee I suggest Adobe Stock.
For $29 a month you can access 10 images, or $2.90 an image. Adobe bought out my favorite, Dollar photo club where every image was a dollar and raised it. However, the quality of the images is far superior to any of the free image sources below.

Wow! That is a lot of sites! Thank you for this info Jason!
My pleasure, I hope they were useful. We made sure to update all of the links for the new year. We trimmed out any old nonexistent sites and added a few new ones.
